		Scottish Property Market in 2018

According to Registers of Scotland, the average house price in Scotland increased by 2.9% between November 2017, and November 2018.
This means the average property price in Scotland stands at £150,638, compared to the UK average of £230,630.
In fact, the average property price in Scotland has increased each month since March 2016.
The biggest property price increases were in Midlothian (up 11.9% at £187,796), Highlands (up 9.5% at £170,923), and Edinburgh (up 9.3% at £266,985).
The biggest decrease was in Aberdeen (down 6.7% at £154,550).
The average price of properties bought with a mortgage increased by 3.1% at £156,255.
Cash sales also increased by 2.5% at £138,574.
